Alamo Auto Supply announced that it has sold its wholesale distribution business to Meyer Distributing, a national distributor of automotive specialty products. The transaction allows Alamo Auto Supply to concentrate on expanding its rapidly growing fleet and retail accessory sales and upfitting operations, while ensuring its wholesale customers continue to be supported by a best‑in‑class national distribution platform, company officials stated in a press release.

Under the terms of the transaction, Meyer Distributing will assume responsibility for serving Alamo’s wholesale distribution customers effective Dec. 15, 2025, with a planned transition designed to minimize disruption to ordering, inventory availability and customer service, noted the release. Alamo Auto Supply will continue to operate its retail, fleet and car dealer upfitting businesses, maintaining its long‑standing commitment to quality installations, technical expertise and customer service, the company said.

“This is a natural next step in our evolution,” said Dick Krasne, president of Alamo Auto Supply. “By partnering with Meyer to take care of our wholesale customers, we can focus our resources on growing our fleet and retail operations, adding capacity, and deepening the services our commercial and consumer customers rely on.”

Meyer Distributing says that it will onboard Alamo’s wholesale accounts as part of the transaction, providing access to an expanded catalog, broader geographic coverage and integrated logistics. Alamo and Meyer are working closely together to ensure a seamless hand‑off for customers and suppliers.
