Akrapovič Audi S3 Exhaust System Now Available at Turn 14 Distribution

Akrapovič has released its Audi S3 (8Y) Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system, which is now available through Turn 14 Distribution, the sole U.S. automotive distributor for Akrapovič.

The Evolution Line exhaust system is constructed using lightweight materials, with the muffler and link pipe section fabricated from high-grade titanium. The system features two sets of newly designed hand-crafted carbon-fiber tailpipes. Manufactured from Akrapovič’s foundry, the exhaust is produced with a valve fitted outside the muffler. This design feature allows for ideal gas flow, creating a smooth, rich sound at normal cruising, with a deep and sporty tone when driving more dynamically, the company said.

The Evolution Line exhaust system weighs just 26.3 lbs., which is over 41% lighter than the stock system. Power is increased by 5.4 hp at 4,350 rpm, with a torque gain of 6.5 lb.-ft. at 3,900 rpm, the company said. These figures were measured on the Akrapovič dyno when tested against an Audi S3 with a stock exhaust.
