Aeva to Showcase Windshield-Integrated 4D LiDAR, AI Sensor Tech at CES 2026

Interactive demos will highlight how Aeva’s perception platform is transforming automation across automotive & other applications…

Next-generation sensing and perception systems company Aeva will showcase a passenger OEM vehicle featuring windshield-integrated 4D LiDAR and debut a new 4D LiDAR sensor at CES 2026, set for Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas. Through live, interactive demonstrations, Aeva will highlight how its Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) perception platform is enabling advanced automation across automotive, robotics, factory automation and smart infrastructure applications.

Aeva will introduce a new 4D LiDAR sensor for advanced sensing and perception capabilities that represents the next evolution of the company’s LiDAR-on-Chip perception platform and expands its portfolio beyond long-range automotive sensing to support a wider spectrum of automation and Physical AI applications.

Aeva will also demonstrate its latest Aeva Atlas Ultra 4D LiDAR sensor and feature a live demonstration of Aeva Atlas integrated behind the windshield of a passenger OEM vehicle. The integration illustrates how the company’s FMCW sensing is enabling the future of Level 3 automated driving at highway speeds.

A next-generation windshield integration design featuring the slim Atlas Ultra sensor paired with automotive-grade cameras behind a purpose-built windshield co-developed with Wideye by AGC will also be showcased in Aeva’s booth #6919 in the West Hall, designed to meet stringent passenger OEM requirements for compact packaging, performance and sensor fusion.aeva logo

Smart Infrastructure & Transport Solutions

Aeva will also showcase its expanding portfolio of 4D LiDAR solutions for smart infrastructure and transport. From enhancing next-generation traffic management and safety solutions, to powering advanced aviation and rail automation, to enabling real-time airport situational awareness, Aeva’s technology is advancing safer, more efficient mobility across critical public environments, according to officials.

Attendees can experience real-time point-cloud visualizations showcasing Aeva’s ability to simultaneously detect range and velocity for every point—an essential advantage over conventional 3D Time-of-Flight LiDAR systems. Combined with Aeva’s AI-driven perception software, the demos will highlight capabilities including dynamic object detection, semantic segmentation and robust tracking in complex environments.
