AAPEX Accepting Seminar Proposals for Joe’s Garage Training Program

AAPEX 2023 is inviting technical and business management trainers to submit session proposals for the Joe’s Garage training program, event organizers announced.

Proposals should be geared toward technicians, shop owners and other automotive service professionals, and applications must be completed by March 10.

Training sessions will take place during AAPEX 2023, Oct. 31 through Nov. 2, at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Business management sessions will be 1.5 hours in length and technical training will be 2 hours.

Proposals will be evaluated by a panel of independent repair shop owners and technicians using a review process and scoring system. AAPEX will announce the lineup of selected training sessions for Joe’s Garage in early May.

Topics for training sessions at last year’s event included hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibration, CAN bus diagnosis, becoming a top 1% shop, charging what you’re worth and electrical diagnosis.
