AAM Group Recognizes 30th Anniversary
The AAM Group celebrated its 30th anniversary during a special presentation at the May 14-17 Membership Meeting in St. Louis.
The AAM Group incorporated in Texas in 1988 and was headquartered for 14 years in New Orleans before moving to its present location in Piney Flats, Tennessee, in 2003.
Attendees were treated to a visual timeline of important events in the company’s history, including member warehouse join dates and an AAM logo retrospective that illustrated how the organization’s identity has evolved over the years. In addition, many vendors received custom commemorative stand-ups representing their tenure with the group via sales flyer images from years past.
Automotive Accessories Marketing USA Inc. (The AAM Group) is the largest distribution group in the SEMA marketplace, according to the group. The corporation was founded by eight high-performance warehouse distributors that sought to achieve cooperative scaled purchasing and marketing advantages.
The AAM Group now counts 21 member-companies operating 39 distribution centers throughout North America.
