AAM Group Adds ClearVU to Line Card

The AAM Group has announced New York–based ClearVU, producer of safety- and convenience-focused rearview camera cleaning devices, has come on board as a supporting supplier partner.
Automotive rearview cameras were designed to prevent injuries and avoid collisions, which they can’t do if they’re obscured by mud, snow, ice, grime, fog, salt or other environmental residue. Using a vehicle’s OEM windshield washer, pump and wiper control, ClearVU devices let users clean their rearview cameras without ever leaving the vehicle and in any weather condition.
The company’s do-it-yourself kits are made in the USA, include all necessary hardware and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Dozens of applications are available, including for many vehicle makes and models and some commercial machinery, according to the company.
