The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) announced its newest industry event, the “Boss of the Toss” Charity Cornhole Tournament & Tailgate Reception. This inaugural event will feature competitive cornhole, open bar, food, a DJ, and live broadcasts of major sporting events, company officials stated in a press release. Attendees will also have the chance to network with fellow industry professionals, all while supporting families in the aftermarket community.

“The AACF has a long history of helping industry professionals in need, and never has it been more important than the last few years with weather disasters and wildfires,” said Ted Hughes, AWDA executive director. “AWDA members have benefitted from the work of AACF, and now is the best time to support their efforts in this cause. I am proud of the AWDA membership for stepping up in a big way.”

John Kairys, AACF executive director, added, “‘The Boss of the Toss’ is more than just a game; it’s an opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, and make a real difference for families in the aftermarket industry. We’re also excited to welcome industry members who may not be able to attend our annual golf tournament, giving everyone a chance to join in this first-of-its-kind event.”

Preregistration Required for ‘The Boss of the Toss’

The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Venetian Hotel in its Casanova Ballroom, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Preregistration is required for attendees and teams, and a portion of the proceeds will also benefit the University of the Aftermarket and its programs, supporting education and training initiatives within the industry. This event is open to all industry professionals, as well as AWDA members and their suppliers.

The AACF has extended a special thank you to its Premier Sponsor, AWDA, for making this inaugural event possible. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for companies interested in being part of the event.
