The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF), has recognized two of its most loyal and impactful Champion-level donors—The Group (Automotive Parts Services Group) and the Auto Care Association—for their continued commitment to supporting aftermarket families in crisis.
Their enduring generosity year after year helps AACF stay ready to respond quickly and compassionately when disaster or tragedy strikes, stated company officials in a press release. In a time where natural disasters, economic hardship, and unexpected health emergencies are rising across the nation, this type of consistent support makes a difference.
The Group (Automotive Parts Services Group)
The Group includes aftermarket brands such as Auto Value, Bumper to Bumper, Federated Auto Parts, Parts Plus, and Pronto Auto Parts, representing a significant force of industry leadership. Their continued contributions are a testament to their belief in taking care of their own, noted the release.
“We’ve seen firsthand how AACF steps up to support our industry families during their most difficult moments,” said Mike Peace of the Pronto Network. “There are many wonderful charitable organizations, but only one that supports the automotive aftermarket and the people who work in our great industry. Giving is good for your soul and your heart.”
Mike continued, “It seems every day we hear about a natural disaster—wildfires, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes—that affects our nation and our aftermarket families. Now is a critical time to give.”
The Auto Care Association
The Auto Care Association is a long-time AACF Champion donor. Their support fuels critical aid efforts and helps raise awareness throughout the automotive aftermarket community. As Bill Hanvey, president & CEO of the Auto Care Association, shares, “At the Auto Care Association, we believe that supporting the people behind our industry is just as important as advancing the industry itself. AACF provides a vital safety net for families in times of crisis, and we’re proud to stand alongside them once again this year. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who’ve dedicated their careers to the aftermarket.”
AACF executive director John Kairys shared his gratitude: “The Group and the Auto Care Association embody the very spirit of giving and leadership. Their partnership helps us fulfill our mission of being a safety net for industry families during their darkest times. We simply couldn’t do what we do without their steadfast support. They don’t just give—they lead by example.”
AACF states that, as it continues its mission to help those who’ve given their careers to this industry, it is deeply thankful to these generous organizations for continuing to walk beside them.
