ECD Auto Design (NASDAQ: ECDA), has revealed Project Kalorado – a soft-top Defender 110 handcrafted for its new home in the Colorado mountains.
The classic Defender 110 starts with a General Motors 6.2L V-8 and sits on 16-inch Wolf wheels and BFGoodrich All Terrain tires, Other highlights include a Borla exhaust system, EBC Fast brakes, rear bumper tow package and OEM style mud-flaps.
Brooklands Green full gloss bodywork is complemented by custom finishes like the heritage style grille, classic bumpers, soft-top and multi-point roll cage.
“Our team takes a 25-year-old Defender and restores it to include all the bells and whistles,” said Scott Wallace, ECD CEO. “If our clients can dream it, we can do it – from the exact shade of paint to the most modern technology upgrades, It’s the heart of our business.”
The spacious Project Kalorado also offers heated Puma Classic seats and room for eight thanks to the inward-facing jump seats, covered in Garrett Chatham Hazelnut leather.
Modern technologies include JLAudio speakers and subwoofers, CarPlay, SiriusXM, Bluetooth, four USB ports, automatic headlights, remote start and back-up camera.
