4Wheel Parts/ORW USA Inc., provider of off-road and truck parts, announced that industry veteran Wade Kawasaki has been named to its board of directors. This announcement comes on the heels of a merger between Off Road Warehouse (ORW) and 4Wheel Parts (4WP), marking a new chapter for the combined entity. The merger builds on the strengths of both brands, with former 4WP and ORW executives—led by CEO Greg Adler—continuing to drive operational excellence under the combined umbrella, according to officials in a press release.
“The 4Wheel Parts and ORW brands represent over 100 years of combined industry experience,” Adler noted. “With strategic guidance from leaders like Wade and a dedicated team across our retail and online platforms, the future is exceptionally bright.”
Kawasaki, who currently serves as executive chairman of The Wheel Group (TWG) and has a distinguished record as a leader in the automotive aftermarket, will bring his decades of expertise to the board while continuing to serve TWG.
“I am honored to join the board of such an iconic company,” Kawasaki said. “This is a pivotal moment for the industry, and I look forward to helping Greg and the team steer this newly combined organization toward sustained growth and innovation. This is a compliment to my current role at TWG as 4Wheel Parts is one of our largest and most valued customers, and I truly believe that as the truck and off-road segment continue to grow, smart strategic leadership will benefit the segment and the entire industry.”
“Wade’s appointment is a testament to our commitment to industry leadership and operational excellence,” said Adler. “His deep experience in acquisitions, supply chain management and strategic market growth will be invaluable as we integrate our operations and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the off-road market.”
Combined Organization Leverages Decades of Experience & Expertise
Off Road Warehouse was originally founded in 1973 by Baja racers with the intent to provide parts and technical expertise to the off-road market in the Western U.S. and was acquired by Adler in 2019, who immediately began the process of growing and modernizing the retail chain. 4Wheel Parts was established by the Adler family in 1961 and was recently re-acquired through a partnership with Australia-based global off-road parts company ARB.
“ARB has been a market leader in the off-road and overland market for over 50 years, and our partnership with Greg Adler in the merger of ORW and 4WP will be transformational for our companies, the industry and the consumer,” said ARB CEO Lachlan McCann. “Wade brings decades of leadership experience in both the U.S. and international aftermarket, and we welcome his vision, connections and expertise to our board of directors as we continue to roll out new products and new innovations for the growing off-road market.”
The combined organization now operates 50 retail stores across seven states—Arizona, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida—as well as an e-commerce platform, 4WheelParts.com. The integration brings with it approximately 400 employees and leverages decades of expertise in the automotive aftermarket and off-road industry, noted the press release.
