Brothers Jason and Casey Scherer took on King of the Hammers this year in two very different machines, but they both share the love of off-road racing. Jason took the overall win this year in the 4400 class, while Casey competes in the UTV class. Casey was the 2017 Western Points Champion and rookie of the year in 2017.
In February, Jason Scherer and his Red Line-equipped Ultra 4 rig joined over 100 competitors in Johnson Valley, California for the toughest one-day off road race in the world. For more than 200 miles, Scherer battled the toughest terrain and experienced competitors to stand atop the highest step on the podium, becoming one of just five racers to win the event more than once.
