FCA US set the stage for the arrival of it new 2018 Jeep Wrangler with two ads that aired during the Super Bowl LII telecast on Sunday night. The company also advertised for the new Jeep Cherokee.
Perhaps the most popular Jeep ad—a 60 second spot—paid homage to the iconic scene in Jurassic Park in which Jeff Goldblum’s character, Dr. Ian Malcom, escapes danger while in the back of a Jeep Wrangler as he is being chased by a rampaging Tyrannosaurus rex.
The ad was directed by Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow, who returns as co-writer and executive producer of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” arriving in U.S. theaters this summer.
