Introducing the all-new 709 HD Bead Grip wheel from Method Race Wheels—the latest cutting-edge offering with ultra-heavy-duty load ratings, Bead Grip Technology and customizable accessories.
This HD model is rated at 3,310 lbs., a full 25% stronger than typical 2,650 lb.-rated wheels. Available in 17-inch, 18-inch and 20-inch, it’s Method’s first wheel to feature patented Bead Grip technology—designed to lock the tire bead to the wheel under extreme lateral loads and at lower tire pressures. Bead Grip grooves on both inner and outer bead seats provide enhanced engagement, while a more aggressive safety hump profile further reduces de-beading risk on the trail.
The 709 HD is also compatible with our optional Forged Impact Rings, which protect the outer lip from rock damage while allowing custom styling. Rings install easily using the included 12-point bolts and are available in red, blue, gloss black, or raw finishes (Forged Impact Rings are NOT compatible with any other wheel styles other than 709 and are sold separately). All Method Standard and Bead Grip wheels come with an industry-leading lifetime structural warranty and a 5-year finish warranty.
