With an integrated LED light bar, the Factor 55 Lighted Fairlead illuminates the winching area for safer winch operation in low light. The light projects wide and forward to illuminate the ground in front of the vehicle and also projects rearward to light up the winch drum for visibility when spooling winch line. Users can switch between 6000K light at 560 lumens (1 lux @ 10m) or amber 3000K light at 425 lumens (0.75 lux @ 10m). The Lighted Fairlead also eliminates the need for hand-held flashlights or the use of a headlamp when operating the winch in the dark.
The LED’s polycarbonate lens is flush-mounted to the fairlead body, reducing potential damage from impacts. The light is IP68 waterproof, and includes waterproof Deutsch 3-pin connectors, 15 feet of wiring to the battery, 23 feet of wiring for in-cab installs, and a 3-way switch for a clean, easy installation.
This fairlead is made from machined 6061-T6 aluminum with 10-inch bolt spacing, and wears a mil-spec hard-anodized gray finish for corrosion resistance. The fairlead is made in the USA and has a large-radius opening ideal for synthetic winch rope. The light is engineered and assembled in the USA.
