McLaren’s Stealth Fighter

McLaren Special Operations (MSO), a division of McLaren Automotive, has created a new collectible: the new McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection. Limited to only 100 models globally, this special model features an all-black stealth design, enhanced driving thrill, and a wealth of unique MSO content, according to MSO.

Developed by MSO, the exterior of the two-seat, mid-engined Grand Tourer is finished in Carbon Black paint. Created specifically for this limited-run model, it is a truly striking and extremely deep color, according to MSO.

The stealth theme is heightened by the MSO Defined Black Pack, which enhances the front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts and intakes with a unique black finish, replacing the standard Dark Palladium color. Completing the covert appearance are Black Brake Calipers and Lightweight Forged Wheels with a new Gloss Black Diamond wheel finish.

Nestled behind the unique alloys are carbon-ceramic brake discs, which combine with the new Sport Pack. For those who wish for the sharper, more precise dynamic behavior of the 570S Coupé with the sleeker GT body style, a combination of mechanical and calibration changes are responsible for the enhanced responses, according to MSO.

The car also includes the MSO Defined Titanium SuperSports Exhaust, which reduces weight by 11 pounds and provides a crisper tone that is also 5dB louder. An MSO Nano Black Exhaust Finisher completes the visual modifications.

The interior is enhanced with MSO Black Collection Trim, including a unique combination of Jet Black Leather with Carbon Black Alcantara accents, according to MSO. Highlighting the attention to detail, the Sports Seats are wrapped in Semi-Aniline Leather featuring unique MSO logo embroidery on the headrests, and the Panoramic Roof incorporates UV-filtering black privacy-tint glass.

Customers can also choose to spec the MSO Defined Electrochromic Panoramic Roof, an option recently introduced for the 570GT. It allows the occupants within to alter the amount of light entering the cabin by changing the tint of the glass at the push of a button. Final touches are an MSO Defined Ignition Key in Carbon Black, and a numbered Dedication Plate.
