2020-22 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350 & F-450
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling approximately 292,000 model-year 2020-22 F-250, 350 and 450 Super Dutys.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the 360-degree camera system may not display a rearview image properly in certain lighting conditions, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will update the image-processing module software as necessary and for free. Ford says interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are in the process of being mailed, with additional letters being sent once a final remedy is available.

Ford & Lincoln Recall 59,000 Vehicles
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling more than 59,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, including model-year 2016-18 and 2020-23 Explorer SUVs, 2019-20 Fusion sedans, 2019-24 Ranger pickup trucks, 2020-22 Escape SUVs, 2021-24 Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs, 2022-24 Maverick pickup trucks, 2016-19 MKC SUVs and 2020-22 Corsair SUVs.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the engine block heater in these vehicles may crack and leak coolant, causing the heater to short-circuit when plugged in and increasing the risk of a fire. Ford says owners of the affected vehicles may notice coolant spots on the ground below the vehicle, an overheating powertrain, a warning light for low coolant, as well as odor or smoke. Owners are advised not to plug the block heater in until a remedy has been performed.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the block heater as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified by Oct. 24, and a second letter will be sent once a remedy is available.

2013-16 Dodge Dart
Vehicles Affected: Parent company Stellantis is recalling approximately 300,000 model-year 2013-16 Dodge Darts.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the shifter cable may detach from the transmission and prevent the vehicle from shifting into Park, thereby increasing the risk of a rollaway.
The Fix: Owners will be notified by Nov. 6, and a second letter will be sent once a remedy is available.

2020-25 Alfa Romeo Giulias & Stelvios
Vehicles Affected: Stellantis is recalling more than 62,900 model-year 2020-25 Giulias and Stelvios.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the printed circuit board and software for the rearview camera may contain defects that can cause the camera image to be inverted or blank, black or blue. A blank or distorted camera image reduces the driver’s visibility and increases the risk of a collision.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the radio and update the rearview camera software as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified by Nov. 25.

2024-25 Hyundai Santa Fe
Vehicles Affected: Hyundai is recalling approximately 135,300 model-year 2024-25 Santa Fes.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the B+ terminal cover on the starter motor assembly may not have been installed properly, which could cause an electrical short during a crash and increase the risk of an electrical fire.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and reinstall the starter motor terminal cover as necessary and for free. Hyundai will notify owners by Dec. 1.
