2025-26 Nissan Altima/Sentra/Frontier/Kick
Vehicles Affected: Nissan is recalling more than 26,400 vehicles, including model-year 2025 Altimas and Sentras, 2025-26 Frontiers and 2026 Kicks.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the door strikers may not have been welded properly and can break, resulting in the door opening unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the door strikers as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified by March 13.

2025-26 Genesis G80/GV80/GV60/GV70
Vehicles Affected: Hyundai luxury brand Genesis is recalling approximately 83,800 vehicles, including 2025-26 G80 sedans and GV80 SUVs, as well as 2026 Electrified G80 sedans and GV60, GV70 and Electrified GV70 SUVs.
The Problem: According to the automaker, a software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail, thereby preventing the driver from viewing critical information (e.g., the speedometer or fuel gauge) and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Genesis advises owners to display the high-definition radio feature until a remedy is performed. The audio-video navigation software can be updated by a dealer or an over-the-air update as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified by March 16.

2013-19 Ford Focus, Escape & Lincoln MKC
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling more than 116,600 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, including model-year 2013-18 Focus, 2013-19 Escape and 2015-16 Lincoln MKC.
The Problem: All recalled vehicles are equipped with a 2.0-liter engine. According to the automaker, the engine block heater may overheat and develop a coolant leak, causing a short circuit when plugged in and increasing the risk of a fire.
The Fix: Ford is advising owners not to plug the block heater in until the remedy is performed. Dealers will replace the block heater as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified of the issue by February 13.

2021-25 Volvo Vehicle Models
Vehicles Affected: Volvo is recalling more than 413,100 vehicles, including 2021-25 XC40 SUVs; 2022 V90 wagons; 2022-24 C40 Recharge electric SUVs; 2022-25 S90 sedans, V90 Cross Country wagons and XC60 SUVs; 2023-25 S60 sedans, V60 and V60 Cross Country wagons and XC90 SUVs; 2025 EC40 and EX40 electric SUVs.
The Problem: According to the automaker, a software issue may prevent the rearview camera from displaying an image when the vehicle is placed in Reverse, thereby decreasing driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Volvo will update the software via a dealer or an over-the-air update as necessary and for free. Vehicles that were previously repaired for the issue under recall 25V282 will also need to have the new remedy performed. Owners will be notified by February 16.

2025-26 Ram 1500/2500/3500/4500/5500
Vehicles Affected: Parent automaker GM is recalling more than 81,100 Chevrolet Equinox EV electric SUVs, including model-year 2025-26 Equinox EVs.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the pedestrian warning sound may not be loud enough and can fail to alert pedestrians of a moving vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash and injury.
The Fix: A dealer or over-the-air-update will address the body control module software. Owners will be notified by February 2.
