2023-26 BMW Wagon/Sedan
Vehicles Affected: BMW is recalling more than 58,700 vehicles, including model-year 2023-25 i7 xDrive60 sedan; 2024-25 750e xDrive, i5 M60 xDrive and i7 eDrive50 sedans; 2024-26 i5 eDrive40 sedan; 2025 M5 Touring wagon; as well as 2025-26 550e xDrive, i5 xDrive40 and M5 sedans.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the electrical wiring harness for the air-conditioning system may become damaged when the cabin air filter is replaced, which could lead to a short circuit and fire.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the air-conditioning system’s electrical wiring harness, as well as add a retaining strap or bracket to the harness as necessary and for free. BMW will begin notifying owners on April 13.

2017-19 Ford Explorer
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling more than 412,700 model-year 2017-19 Explorers.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the rear suspension toe links can fracture. Drivers may notice a clunking noise, unusual handling or a rear wheel misalignment. A rear toe-link fracture can cause the vehicle to lose steering control, thereby increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the toe links as necessary and for free. Ford will begin notifying owners on March 9.

2023-25 Ford Escape PHEVs & 2023-26 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling approximately 24,600 Escape Plug-in Hybrid SUVs, as well as the plug-in variant of the Lincoln Corsair SUV. Affected vehicles include model-year 2023-25 Escape PHEVs and 2023-26 Corsair Grand Touring trims.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the high-voltage battery may have a manufacturing defect in one or more cells that can result in an internal short circuit and battery failure, thereby increasing the risk of a crash or fire.
The Fix: As of now, Ford advises owners to only use their vehicles’ Auto EV mode and only charge the vehicles to a maximum of 80% battery capacity until a remedy is underway. Ford will begin notifying owners on March 6.

2022 Cadillac, Chevrolet & GMC Full-Size SUVs
Vehicles Affected: GM is recalling more than 43,700 Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC full-size SUVs. Affected vehicles include model-year 2022 Cadillac Escalades and Escalade ESVs; Chevrolet Tahoes and Suburbans; as well as GMC Yukons and Yukon XLs. All of the vehicles are equipped with 10-speed automatic transmissions with electronic transmission range select.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the transmission control valve may fail and lock up the rear wheels, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will install new transmission control module software as necessary and for free. GM will begin notifying owners on March 30.

2021-23 Grand Cherokee Ls & 2022-23 Grand Cherokees
Vehicles Affected: Stellantis is recalling more than 80,600 vehicles, including model-year 2021-23 Grand Cherokee Ls and 2022-23 Grand Cherokees.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the rear coil springs may have been installed incorrectly and can detach while the vehicle is in motion, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the rear coil spring assembly as necessary and for free. Stellantis began notifying owners on February 12.
