2016-20 Acura ILX

Vehicles Affected: Parent company Honda is recalling more than 70,600 model-year 2016-20 ILX sedans.

The Problem: According to the automaker, the brake fluid may be contaminated and cause a seal inside the brake master cylinder to become deformed, which can lead to a brake fluid leak and reduced braking ability.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder as necessary for free. Owner notification letters will be mailed Feb. 2, 2026, and a second letter will be sent when a remedy is available.
