2017-28 RAM 2500/3500/4500/5500 PICKUPS
Vehicles Affected: Parent company Stellantis is recalling approximately 317,600 heavy-duty pickups, including model-year 2017-18 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 trucks.
The Problem: The automaker says some trucks may have been manufactured with a faulty brake hydraulic control unit, which could result in the loss of the anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control or traction control.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the hydraulic control unit as necessary and for free. Stellantis will notify owners by Jan. 9, 2025.

2023-24 HONDA PASSPORT & PILOT SUVS
Vehicles Affected: Honda is recalling approximately 206,000 SUVs, including model-year 2023-24 Passports and 2023-25 Pilots.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the fuel filler neck tube and fuel filler pipe in these vehicles may separate and allow fuel to leak, thereby increasing the risk of a fire and/or injury to vehicle occupants.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the fuel filler neck tube and fuel filler pipe as necessary and for free. Honda will notify owners by Jan. 6, 2025.

2024 CHEVY SILVERADO & GMC SIERRA PICKUPS
Vehicles Affected: GM is recalling more than 132,000 Chevrolet and GMC heavy-duty pickups, including model-year 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 trucks and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks with power-unlatching tailgates.
The Problem: According to the automaker, water may enter the tailgate of the affected vehicles and then possibly come into contact with the gate-release switch and cause a short circuit. An unlatched tailgate also increases the risk of cargo exiting the vehicle and becoming a road hazard.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the exterior touchpad switch assemblies as necessary and for free. GM will begin notifying owners by Jan.13, 2025.

The Problem: The rearview camera in these vehicles may fail to display due to a damaged printed circuit board, thus reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary and for free. Hyundai will notify owners by Jan. 19, 2025.

HYUNDAI, GENESIS & KIA RECALL MORE THAN 208,000 ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Vehicles Affected: Hyundai, luxury arm Genesis and sister brand Kia are recalling more than 208,000 electric vehicles, including 2022-24 Hyundai Ioniq 5, 2023-25 Hyundai Ioniq 6, 2023-25 Genesis GV60, 2023-24 Genesis Electrified GV70, 2023-24 Genesis Electrified G80 and 2022-24 Kia EV6.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the issue stems from a malfunction in the ICCU, which could prevent it from properly charging the 12-volt battery. If the 12-volt battery is not properly charged, the propulsion system can lose power and result in a complete loss of drive power.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuse, plus update the software, as necessary and for free. Kia owners were to be notified by Dec. 13, 2024, while Hyundai and Genesis owners will be notified by Jan. 17, 2025.
