2025-26 Kia EV9
Vehicles Affected: Kia is recalling more than 21,200 model-year 2025-226 EV9 electric three-row SUVs.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the occupant detection system in the vehicles may have been improperly routed and may not deactivate the airbag when a child or child seat is in the front passenger seat.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the ODC mat and bladder tube and ensure they are routed properly. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 20.

2021-26 BMW Sedans
Vehicles Affected: BMW is recalling more than 27,700 vehicles, including 2021-23 540i, 550i sedans, 2022-26 840i coupes, and 2024-26 750e plug-in hybrid sedans.
The Problem: The connection between the driveshaft and the rear differential may become damaged and cause an unexpected loss of rear-wheel power or a vehicle rollaway.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect the connection between the driveshaft and the rear differential then apply adhesive or replace the driveshaft and rear axle differential. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 2.

2024-25 Toyota Tacoma
Vehicles: Toyota is recalling approximately 48,000 model-year 2024-25 Tacomas in TRD Off-Road trim.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the oil reservoir on the shock absorber may detach due to a buildup of corrosion, thereby increasing the risk of a crash or injury to other road users.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect the front and rear shock absorber assemblies, then replace them with improved ones as necessary and for free. Toyota will notify owners by early October.

2023-26 Alfa Romeo Tonales & Dodge Hornets
Vehicles Affected: Parent company Stellantis is recalling more than 48,700 model-year 2023-25 Alfa Romeo Hornets and model-year 2023-26 Tonales.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the rear outboard seat belts may become twisted and fail to retract properly.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the retractors as necessary and for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 24.

2025-26 Toyota Camry
Vehicles Affected: Toyota is recalling more than 508,000 model-year 2025-26 Camrys.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the instrument cluster display may fail during vehicle startup – deactivating the hazard lights, turn signals, seat belt warning system, and smart key reminder. An instrument cluster that fails to display critical safety information increases the risk of a crash or injury.
The Fix: Dealers will update the display software for free. Toyota will notify owners Sept. 21.

2019-26 Ram 1500
Vehicles Affected: Stellantis is recalling more than 1.2 million model-year 2019-26 Ram 1500 pickup trucks.
The Problem: According to the automaker, the rear center and/or rear driver-side seat belt buckle anchor may not have been properly attached during manufacturing. An improperly secured anchor could reduce the effectiveness of the rear seat belt system, thereby increasing the risk of injury to occupants.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect the rear center and rear driver-side seat belt buckle anchor and properly attach it to the vehicle’s body structure. Owners will be notified to schedule an inspection.
