2014-20 Acura MDX SUVs
Vehicles Affected: Honda is recalling approximately 152,800 SUVs from its luxury brand Acura, including model-year 2014-20 MDXs.
The Problem: According to the automaker, moisture may enter through an unevenly sealed surface on the tailgate lid light, thus causing it to fail. In addition, a short circuit may occur and affect the position light fuse, which can impact certain interior lighting and exterior position lights. Failure of the latter may impact visibility to other traffic at night, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will install a fuse harness and, if necessary, replace the lid lights and repair the body dust sealer for free. Acura will notify owners starting May 27.

The Problem: The brake master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak into the brake booster, which can reduce brake function and increase the distance required to stop the vehicle.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. In addition, the brake booster will be replaced if a leak is found. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 28.
