AEV Debuts New Bliss Mobil Prospector XL Adventure Vehicle
American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) has partnered with Europe’s Bliss Mobil to design an all-new adventuring vehicle, the AEV Bliss Mobil Prospector XL, the companies announced.
The overlanding rig features Bliss Mobil’s 13-ft.-high bed cabin built onto the back of the off-road ready truck from AEV.

Bliss Mobil clients have the choice between five custom layout options for their 13-ft. cabin. This particular truck is fitted with Bliss Mobil’s High Bed Type 4 layout. The 13-ft. cabin unit has a large, comfortable bed that can be electronically lowered, raised and leveled, while the large, U-shaped couch can be converted into an additional bed. The extra space in the living area is used for a fully equipped bathroom that includes a marine grade ceramic yachting water closet and waterproof cabinets. The combined lavatory and bathroom is closed off with a high-quality glass door.
Cabinet space in the kitchen and overall storage throughout the cabin is a high priority found in Bliss Mobil’s design. The grand cabinet situated in the kitchen is large enough to fit an optional washing machine or any other necessary large appliances. The kitchen is fitted with a Fenix countertop, additional storage capacity, a microwave featuring an oven and grill, two induction hubs and stove hood. Additional storage boxes can be anchored on the (sub)frame as well as on the back of the unit to further maximize storage capability.
The truck is configured with an AEV front bumper, HighMark front fender flares, 2-inch front suspension lift, heavy duty wheels and tires, splashguards, snorkel, intercooler skid plate, speedometer recalibration, AEV branding package and AEV embroidered headrests.
