AWE Names New Financial Head

AWE has hired John Forbes as its new financial head. Forbes will officially take the title of controller at the company.

“John Forbes was brought on to join the executive team at the company, helping to advise Todd Sager and myself on the financial side of strategies during our growth and entrance into new markets and lines,” said Jesse Kramer, vice president of marketing at AWE.

Forbes is responsible for managing the AWE P&L and being the new financial voice on the company’s executive team.

“AWE is an aggressive, growth-oriented organization, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” Forbes said.

Forbes, prior to joining AWE, was the director of finance at Bimbo Bakeries. Before Bimbo Bakeries, he served as financial director at Clyde Bergemann Power Group, financial controller at Alstom Grid and assistant controller at Areva T&D.
