2020-21 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350 & F-450

Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling more than 115,500 model-year 2020-21 Super Duty F-250, F-350 and F-450 trucks.

The Problem: According to the automaker, these vehicles may have been built with a steering column upper shaft that can detach from the steering column and result in a loss of control.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the steering column and repair or replace the upper shaft as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified on October 6.

2016-19 Ford Taurus Sedans

Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling nearly 102,000 model-year 2016-19 Taurus sedans.

The Problem: According to the automaker, the B-pillar trim applique may not have adhered properly during vehicle assembly. As a result, the trim can separate from the top of the front doors when entering or exiting the vehicle. In addition, drivers may hear wind noise or rattling while the vehicle is in motion. If the B-pillar trim applique detaches while the vehicle is in motion, then it could become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the trim and repair or replace it as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified on September 22.

2018 Ford Taurus

2020-25 Hyundai Palisade SUV

Vehicles Affected: In its first major recall of the year, Hyundai recalled 568,500 model-year 2020-25 Palisades.

The Problem: According to the automaker, the seat belt buckle assemblies in the front- and second-row outer seats may contain out-of-spec components, which could prevent the buckle from latching.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt assemblies as necessary and for free. In the meantime, occupants are advised to insert the belt firmly into the buckle with a quick, direct motion and pull on the belt to confirm attachment. Owners will be notified on November 10.

2024 Hyundai Palisade SUV

2022-25 Jeep Wagoneers & Grand Wagoneers

Vehicles Affected: Parent company Stellantis is recalling approximately 163,700 model-year 2022-25 Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneers.

The Problem: According to the automaker, the trim on the driver and passenger doors may not have been properly secured and could detach, creating a road hazard for other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the door trim as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified on October 31.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer

2024-25 Mazda CX-90 & CX-70 SUVs

Vehicles Affected: Mazda is recalling approximately 105,000 model-year 2024-25 CX-90s and model-year 2025 CX-70s.

The Problem: According to the automaker, the fuel gauge in the instrument cluster may display an inaccurate reading. This could result in the vehicle unexpectedly running out of fuel and stalling.

The Fix: Dealers will update the body control module software as necessary and for free. Owners will be notified on November 1.
