AACF Announces Board Leadership Appointments & Commitee Updates

Kathryn Reinhart will serve as vice president & Marc Blackman will serve as secretary of the board…

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced two new appointments to its board of trustees leadership team, as well as the implementation of an enhanced committee structure designed to drive engagement and mission alignment across the organization.

Kathryn Reinhart Appointed to Serve as Vice President on the Board

Kathryn Reinhart, senior vice president marketing & events at Hemmings, has been appointed to serve as vice president, joining Luanne Brown, CEO/founder of eTool Developers, as one of two vice presidents on the AACF board. Kathryn will continue her leadership as a committee chair while stepping into this expanded role.

“I am honored and elated to step into the vice president role for AACF,” said Kathryn. “It’s been a pleasure to support this board and this program that is truly focused on supporting people in the automotive aftermarket. Our industry is a tight-knit community that takes care of its own, and knowing we are helping people in need gives me immense gratification that we are making a difference. I look forward to aiding AACF to become a predominant charity partner that our industry recognizes, financially supports, and looks to when financial assistance is needed.”

Marc Blackman Appointed as Secretary of the Board

Marc Blackman, CEO of Gold Eagle Company, has been appointed as secretary of the board. Marc is actively engaged across the aftermarket sector, serving on several key advisory boards and founding a global leadership organization for chief executives focused on leadership excellence and collaboration.

“I am deeply honored to be named secretary of the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation board of trustees,” said Marc Blackman. “This opportunity allows me to contribute to a cause that truly matters—supporting those in need within the industry I love. I look forward to working alongside the amazing and dedicated AACF team to make a meaningful impact.”

New Committee Structure at AACF

In addition to the new leadership appointments, AACF has implemented a new committee structure to elevate board engagement and ensure committees are effective, efficient, nimble and mission-focused, noted officials in a press release.

The revised structure introduces a combination of standing committees and subcommittees, addressing both long-term and short-term needs. Standing committees are fully rostered and tied to core functions essential to AACF’s success.

“This refreshed committee structure will enable AACF to be more agile and responsive while allowing board members to contribute in meaningful ways,” said John Kairys, AACF executive director. “It’s an important step toward advancing our mission and scaling our impact.”

AACF says these leadership appointments and organizational enhancements reflect its ongoing commitment to serve more families in need and remain a trusted resource in the automotive aftermarket industry.
