Synchrony Donates $25,000 to Women in Auto Care

Donation will support the education, professional development & advancement of women in the automotive aftermarket…

Synchrony, a consumer financial services company,  announced a $25,000 donation to Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association. This contribution aligns with Synchrony’s Education as an Equalizer program and aims to support women in the automotive aftermarket industry, according to a press release.

Synchrony says its donation will fund professional development and the purchase of essential tools for women entering or advancing in the auto care sector. Now in its 20th year, Women in Auto Care has distributed numerous awards to aspiring automotive professionals, including cash scholarships and toolkits, offering a powerful investment in the empowerment of women in the industry, noted the press release.

Donation Will Provide Women With Training & More

The donation will support various initiatives, including the following:

  • Professional development scholarships: Providing women with opportunities for ongoing learning and skill enhancement.
  • Funding for essential industry tools: Helping women acquire the necessary equipment to start or advance their careers in auto care.
  • Educational programs and training: Supporting programs that provide women with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in the industry.
