Everrati Engineers an Electrified 1990 Porsche 911 (964)

Marks team’s first delivery of an iconic electried car to Canada…

Everrati, a U.K.- and U.S.-based team of engineering and design specialists that transforms iconic cars into sustainable luxury electric vehicles with zero-emission powertrains, recently announced the delivery of its first customer vehicle in Vancouver, British Columbia, marking the company’s expansion into Canada. Named “The Lighthouse Commission,” the zero-emissions Porsche 911 (964) is an example of Everrati’s commitment to blending iconic vehicle design with OEM-grade technologies to deliver a sustainable driving experience.

Co-created with the vehicle’s owner, the Lighthouse Commission name was inspired by a childhood vacation location that the client frequently visited with their family. The project began with a 1990 left-hand drive 911 964 Widebody Coupe. Featuring an entirely re-engineered battery unit, the Lighthouse Commission delivers 500 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of under 3.7 seconds with Everrati’s proprietary Performance Package. That same powertrain also allows for around 200 miles of range, while regenerative braking further improves battery life.Open trunk of Electrified Porsche 911 (964) revealing battery

In the press release, Everrati stated the key to delivering the required performance characteristics was optimizing the Lighthouse Commission’s overall weight. While maintaining the original 964’s rear-biased weight distribution, new carbon fiber components were implemented throughout. Everrati wanted to ensure that the car not only retained the original driving experience of the internal combustion engine-powered 964 but enhanced it with smooth, responsive power delivery. Everrati also incorporated an adaptive suspension system to further refine ride quality and handling as well as upgraded LED headlights and a Porsche PCCM entertainment unit to ensure that modern driving conveniences were included.

Throughout the co-creation process, Everrati’s team worked to achieve the client’s vision while remaining respectful of the features and analog elements that make a 911, including a standard-look rear light set (but with modern LED upgrades), Fuchs-style wheels and a custom set of dials that look classic but still tell the authentic story of an EV drivetrain.Interior through open door of Electrified Porsche 911 (964)

“The new Everrati Lighthouse is so much more than a visual masterpiece; this vehicle is designed for real-world use. The client challenged us to create a vehicle that captures the timeless, enduring appeal of the 964 while delivering reliability with daily, year-round driving in mind,” commented Everrati founder & CEO Justin Lunny. “The Lighthouse Commission’s transformation is a testament to Everrati’s ability to redefine icons for a new era. This commission was built as a reflection of our client’s passion, personality, and vision and we’re delighted to see it on the roads of an exciting new market for the company.”

Everrati has recently introduced Carte Blanche, a bespoke offering designed to help clients create their dream EV from a blank sheet. Spearheaded by the former chief designer of color and materials of Aston Martin, this program brings over 20 years of experience in color, material and finish design to every commission. Everrati plans to publicly launch this offering during Q1.
