The Monterey Motorsports Festival (MMF) is preparing for its second year at Monterey Car Week with a schedule designed to offer a full experience for adults, teens and children.

The Monterey County Fairgrounds will host the second annual event on Aug. 17, bringing together an array of classic and contemporary automobiles. This year’s festival also features new technology vehicles including e-bikes, ATVs, motorcycles and off-road/ATV vehicles.

Where most Monterey Car Week events are display-only, MMF is centered around vehicles in motion. The event will also celebrate Italian motorsport heritage with “Made in Italy,” a partnership between MMF and ASI, the Automotoclub Storico Italiano.

“The Monterey Motorsports Festival has evolved for our second year. We solidified important international partnerships and have models from the most sought-after car brands. To quote Enzo Ferrari, ‘The only way to be ahead of the competition is to be different,'” said Paolo Manca, MMF founder and CEO.

From modern supercars to classic jewels, the MMF will feature a variety of exotic, classic and race cars on display alongside newer technology. Attendees will be immersed in a celebration of automotive history and innovation, from exclusive ride-and-drives to in-depth seminars with industry legends.

All major supercar brands will be represented: Ferrari, Lamborghini with the Revuelto and Urus SE, KTM, Maserati, McLaren and Porsche. Additionally, the MMF will showcase Italian niche jewels such as Totem GT Electric and GT Super, Kimera EVO37, EVO37 Martini7, EVO38 and Karma Kaveya and Revero. A special display will feature a Robinson R66 helicopter.

Mecum Auctions returns to sponsor the classic car area.

“Sponsoring the Monterey Motorsports Festival again this year was an easy decision, as the event proved its industry relevance and ability to engage, impress and educate attendees at its launch in 2023,” said Dave Magers, CEO of Mecum Auctions. “The festival offers a fascinating and informative arrangement of activities and exhibits that complement Mecum Monterey and other Car Week events.”

MMF sponsors include Karma, Defender Experience, Oil Stain Lab, OVRland Outpost, Graniterock, Quinn CAT, FMG Custom Concrete, 1st Capital Bank, Land Rover, ZSB LLC and KMBY.
