CATL Introduces Battery With 620 Miles of Range

Reuters reports that Chinese EV battery maker CATL has unveiled its new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a useable range of over 620 miles. 

The LPF-style battery is not only more efficient, but less harmful to the environment for design and manufacturing. Currently, CATL battery packs are used on four models available in China. The battery maker is growing quickly with more than 50 models to utilize its batteries by year’s end.
