Finale Speed Enters Partnership With Roadster Shop
Finale Speed has formed a new partnership with chassis builder Roadster Shop to be the exclusive supplier of the chassis for Finale Speed’s carbon-fiber-bodied 1970 Dodge Charger, the companies announced. The partnership takes effect immediately.
Finale Speed’s Charger will utilize Roadster Shop’s FAST TRACK Mopar chassis. The chassis is based on fully-boxed frame rails made from hand-fabricated 10-gauge steel, the company said.
Finale Speed’s 1970 Charger reimagines the muscle car with a modern drivetrain wrapped in carbon fiber. Power comes from a 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat crate engine producing 707 horsepower running through a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Roadster Shop chassis utilizes custom-valved FOX shocks and oversized Roadster Shop front and rear sway bars, with stopping power provided by Wilwood disc brakes. Toyo Proxes R888R tires wrapped around 18-inch Forgeline three-piece wheels provide grip.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Roadster Shop,” said Finale Speed creative director Chris Jacobs. “Its reputation for quality and craftsmanship is second to none and we’re excited to include its world-class chassis to offer fantastic ride quality and handling for our Chargers. We’re always striving to include the best products in our builds.”
The partnership between Finale Speed and Roadster Shop is expected to drive growth and expansion for both companies, with plans already underway for new product offerings and custom builds that will take the classic-car industry by storm.
“It made perfect sense to partner with Finale Speed,” said Phil Gerber, co-owner of Roadster Shop. “Finale Speed’s passion for performance and crafting the ultimate muscle car really lines up with our values. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
