AllPro Distributing Opens New Warehouse, Announces Personnel Changes

AAM Group member AllPro Distributing has made significant changes in infrastructure and personnel, the organization announced.

AllPro executed these changes, which include major warehousing upgrades and a combination of internal promotions and new hires, the company said, to realize its five-year plan to become the super-regional truck accessory distributor for the Eastern United States.

AllPro recently moved its primary office and warehouse location to Birmingham, Alabama, effectively doubling its warehouse capacity, the company said, and has allowed the company to implement systems and efficiency improvements designed to enhance customer service and satisfaction.In addition, AllPro has promoted two existing employees and made two external hires to fill new positions.

  • John DeBlasio (vice president of sales):DeBlasio has been in the truck accessories business for more than 20 years. He began his career at Cap World before joining AllPro, where he has served in outside sales for Florida, and brings expertise in products, sales training and sales strategy to his new role as vice president of sales.
  • Chuck Schwam (head of business development/territory manager):Schwam comes to AllPro as a longtime industry personality who has cultivated many important relationships across the Southeast, the company said. Having previously worked for Bob Cook Sales and WeatherTech, Schwam will also serve as territory manager for Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
  • Travis Hughes (purchasing category manager):Hughes brings extensive truck accessories product knowledge to his new role as purchasing category manager. Set to be mentored by veteran buyer and purchaser Kevin Falkner, Hughes will play a key role in strengthening AllPro’s line card and inventory availability, the company said.
  • Evan Hawk (creative director):Hired by AllPro to amplify the company’s marketing efforts and digital content, Hawk’s roll will be to generate visibility for resellers and provide a more consistent bridge to ongoing product deals and specials, the company said.
