BILSTEIN-Sponsored Driver Celebrates Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Championship
BILSTEIN is celebrating after its driver, Tim McCreadie, clinched the 2021 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) championship while racing on BILSTEIN AS2-R Series shock absorbers, the company announced.
McCreadie topped the podium for the 9th time at the Great Lakes 50 on Oct. 1, further extending his points lead. A 3rd place finish in the Rome Showdown on Oct. 10 officially secured the series championship for the Watertown, New York racer before the final race last weekend.
“Congratulations to Tim McCreadie and his team on an incredible season and well-deserved championship in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series,” Aaron Morey, head of motorsports at BILSTEIN said. “We are proud to support such a dedicated and ambitious racer and look forward to even more success in seasons to come.”
This is McCreadie’s first championship in the LOLMDS.
“Winning the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship has always been a goal for me,” McCreadie said. “I am really proud of this accomplishment. The support I receive from partners like BILSTEIN is a big part of my success on the track.”
McCreadie’s No. 39 Paylor Motorsports car uses BILSTEIN’s AS2-R Series shock absorbers designed specifically for motorsports applications.
