FutureTech Studio Spotlights EV, ADAS & Engineering Tech at the 2026 SEMA Show

Vehicle builds, technology demonstrations & 21 microlearning sessions show aftermarket manufacturers where powertrains, ADAS & engineering are headed…

FutureTech Studio returns to the 2026 SEMA Show, Nov. 3-6 in Las Vegas, with more than 20 vehicles and a three-day education program highlighting technologies changing how automotive aftermarket products are designed, developed and brought to market, SEMA officials announced in a press release. Topics include advanced powertrains and fuels, artificial intelligence, automated driving technologies and emerging product-development tools.

Located in Central Hall, Booth #24401, FutureTech Studio will feature more than 20 vehicles showcasing alternative fuels and EV powertrains, a FutureTech Live Education Stage offering 21 microlearning sessions at 30 minutes each across three days, and product displays demonstrating real-world solutions to help manufacturers get products to market faster and easier.

“FutureTech Studio is designed to show industry professionals both where automotive technology stands today and where it’s headed, helping attendees evaluate emerging solutions, understand their business implications and identify opportunities to remain competitive,” said Jim Moore, SEMA vice president of OEM and product development. “Attendees can expect a connected, hands-on environment where they can see technologies up close, talk with experts and experience how innovations are shaping the industry’s future.”

Moore, along with the SEMA Garage team, plays a central role in supporting technologies featured in the FutureTech Studio, the release noted. SEMA Garage serves as an advanced R&D partner for the automotive aftermarket, giving companies access to the engineering resources, testing capabilities and technical expertise needed to accelerate product development and navigate compliance. Its Los Angeles and Detroit facilities help manufacturers transform ideas into market-ready products. The exhibit connects that technical work with the products, systems and applications attendees can see on the Show floor, SEMA officials said.

FutureTech Studio Exhibits & SEMA Education Sessions

In addition to microlearning sessions in the FutureTech Studio, attendees can extend their learning through SEMA Education’s Vehicle Technology Track throughout the week in Upper North Hall. FutureTech Studio and related SEMA Education programming will address several areas of vehicle technology, including advanced powertrains, automated driving technologies and engineering tools. Highlights include:

Advanced Powertrains & Alternative Fuels

Featured vehicles at the show include Bisimoto’s Nio EP9, a demonstration of advanced electric powertrain and high-performance vehicle engineering; Rezvani Motors, pushing the boundaries of tactical mobility, vehicle security and performance engineering; and Scorpion EV’s Project SENNA, blending advanced fabrication with high-performance powertrain development.

ADAS & Automated Driving Technologies

Highlights include displays of Sensor Field of View Mapping, exploring the sensor coverage and environmental awareness behind today’s driver-assistance technologies, and Automated Driving Camera Perception, showcasing the perception systems that transform visual data into driving decisions.

Engineering Tools & Product Development

Featured companies include Overland AI, demonstrating next-generation vehicle autonomy through advanced perception and route planning; GM Defense, highlighting the engineering behind next-generation tactical mobility platforms; Kuhnhausen Metal Concepts, demonstrating how digital engineering and fabrication are reshaping automotive aftermarket innovation; Tinkegineering, demonstrating how hands-on learning fuels the next generation of engineering talent; and N+ Bikes, showcasing the integration of electric propulsion, connected software and advanced bicycle engineering.

“As vehicles become increasingly interconnected, it’s more important than ever for industry professionals to understand how emerging technologies will impact the future of driving,” said Luis Morales, SEMA director of vehicle technology. “We look forward to delivering an experience that gives attendees practical insight into these changes so they can prepare their businesses for what comes next.”
