SEMA Names Winner of Inaugural Best Engineered Vehicle Award

Scorpion EV has been named the inaugural winner of SEMA’s Best Engineered Vehicle Award for its all-electric “Venom” Cobra, the organization announced.

Venom has been converted to an all-electric powertrain and is designed to demonstrate how internal combustion engine vehicles can be converted to electric power, SEMA said. The car showcases Scorpion EV’s Venom EV conversion kit, which solves the challenges related to EV conversions by providing the DIY builder with a complete, turnkey solution.
