“The outdoor activations are an essential part of the SEMA Show experience,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA vice president of events. “They allow attendees to see how innovations on the show floor translate into real-world performance, highlighting the creativity and technical skill that drive the automotive industry.”
“Once outside, attendees are immersed in the action,” said Andy Tompkins, SEMA trade show director. “Engines roar, tires squeal and performers push their vehicles to the limit. Visitors can watch this artistry up close, see skilled riders and drivers in real time, and feel the energy of the crowd. It is an experience unlike any other and adds a dynamic element to the SEMA Show and complements the trend and product discovery they experience on the show floor.”
Other Outdoor Activations at the 2025 SEMA Show
Other featured outdoor activations include Horsepower Rodeo, featuring burnouts, drifting and motorsports exhibitions on the Diamond Lot adjacent to West Hall, and the OPTIMA Peak Performance Challenge, a timed acceleration and braking competition. SEMA Show Friday ticket holders can expect plenty of action as well from an elite group of OPTIMA-powered drivers. Demonstrations run throughout the week, giving attendees multiple chances to see automotive skill, with professional drivers and riders providing interactive experiences and photo opportunities.
