LIQUI MOLY Realigns Partnership With MotoGP

The German lubricant specialist has signed a new four-year sponsorship agreement with MotoGP organizer Dorna Sports...

LIQUI MOLY has not extended the “Exclusive Lubricant” title in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories, and the company’s role as an official lubricant supplier of those classes will conclude at the end of 2025. However, the company will remain a loyal partner of MotoGP, the most successful motorcycle racing series in the world, company officials stated in a press release.

“We made this decision as a team because we believe that both our technical requirements and our marketing goals in these two series, which particularly focused on our motorcycling products, have been fully met or successfully implemented,” explains Marco Esser, marketing director of LIQUI MOLY. “MotoGP and LIQUI MOLY are linked by a long-standing partnership based on our shared passion for motorsport and top performance. That’s why we will continue our sponsorship in the most prestigious competition, MotoGP, to further strengthen our brand internationally. We want to inspire fans all over the world.”

LIQUI MOLY To Have a Strong Presence at MotoGP Events

In accordance with the new 2026-29 contract, LIQUI MOLY will have a strong brand presence on and off the tracks at the majority of MotoGP races, the company said. As in previous years, LIQUI MOLY will serve as the title sponsor of the German race at Sachsenring.

“It was very important to us that the German Grand Prix continues to include our brand in its title. We are dedicated to our domestic market, and that’s what we are demonstrating,” Esser emphasizes.

LIQUI MOLY says that it will also remain loyal to its LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team, and the successful cooperation will continue until at least 2027. “For the upcoming season, we have once again signed top riders who will passionately and accurately race and fly the flag for us in this breathtaking sport. We are very much looking forward to this,” Esser said.

Before the launch of the new partnership with MotoGP next year, LIQUI MOLY was a title sponsor of the race in Australia, Oct. 17-19, where everything revolved around the LIQUI MOLY Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix on the legendary Phillip Island Circuit, noted the release. Rider Senna Agius from the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team was the first Australian to celebrate a historic home victory in Moto2.
