Holley Performance Brands announces Alex Buccilli has joined the organization as senior vice president of operations and supply chain. Buccilli rounds out a robust leadership team driving the transformation of Holley Performance Brands to accelerate growth, streamline operations and connect with a wide variety of enthusiasts across key consumer verticals, according to the company.
“As a passionate enthusiast for all things automotive, I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the team,” said Buccilli. “I am thoroughly impressed with Holley’s commitment to its loyal and devoted customer base and the enthusiasm of its teams. It’s incredibly exciting to be a part of the company’s next chapter as we work together to continue creating performance solutions that make the driving experience faster, safer, easier and more fun than ever for enthusiasts all over the world.”
Buccilli will lead Holley’s manufacturing, supply chain and purchasing operations, working closely with the company’s business units to oversee logistics, strategic sourcing and distribution. He will also play a pivotal role in enhancing the long-term operational footprint of the organization as it continues its journey to becoming the leader in global aftermarket performance solutions, according to company officials.
“The addition of a seasoned, global operational leader like Alex is more critical than ever,” said Matthew Stevenson, president and chief executive officer, Holley Performance Brands. “Streamlining operations and improving efficiency across the board is a key part of accelerating our growth engine. Alex has a tremendous track record in driving results with integrity, and we look forward to his expertise advancing our mission.”
Buccilli’s diverse global career is built on more than 20 years of proven operations, financial, marketing and sales experience and leadership. He most recently served as senior director of global warehouse operations for Genie, a TEREX brand and global equipment manufacturer and distributor. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions over 17 years at PACCAR Inc., a global technology leader in premium trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF brands.
In his role, Buccilli assumes the operational responsibilities previously held by longtime Holley employee and former Chief Operating Officer Brian Appelgate, who is retiring later this year. As Appelgate transitions to the end of his tenure both within the industry and with Holley Performance Brands, he will continue to provide guidance and expertise in an advisory role for the company’s Safety & Business Unit.
