Automotive designer Chip Foose, in partnership with Coulson Aviation, will unveil the completed restoration of Ben Johnson’s 1955 Chevrolet Delray at the 2026 SEMA Show on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, in the TMI Products booth (#24477) in Central Hall at 11:30 a.m. PST.
This build marks the culmination of many hours of hard work from Coulson Aviation and the Coulson Autosports team, as well as Chip Foose, officials said in a press release from TMI Products. To bring Foose’s vision to life, many companies contributed to the build, including Foose Design, Coulson Autosports, Summit Racing, Kicker, Quick Performance, CPP, BluePrint Engines, TMI Products, Apex Leather, BFGoodrich Tires, MagnaFlow, Dynamat and Redline Gauges.
Working alongside Johnson throughout the build, Foose developed a design that honors the spirit of the original car while incorporating select components recovered from the burned vehicle.
“I’m incredibly proud to partner with Coulson Aviation and be a part of the RISE Program,” Foose said. “Giving back has always been part of my DNA, and the Coulson family has given Foose Design the opportunity to play a small role in something that can make a very big difference. It’s an amazing program, and I’m honored to be part of it.”
The completed Delray will debut before the automotive aftermarket trade professionals at the 2026 SEMA Show in the TMI Products booth, showcasing the Foose Design complete interior by TMI Products with premium Apex Leather installed by the team at Coulson Autosports. The build serves as both a tribute to the vehicle’s history and a symbol of resilience for wildfire survivors across Southern California, the release noted.
