Two Hawaii Senate committees have passed a resolution seeking construction of a new race track facility on the island of Oahu.
The resolution requests that the Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism identify state-owned land suitable for a public-private partnership to design, build and operate a racing venue. The bill has been sent to the Senate Committee on Ways and Means for further consideration.
