Walmart is planning to expand its electric vehicle charging network to its chain of over 5,000 U.S. stores, Reuters reported.

Walmart would own the new network of chargers, the report said, adding to the 1,300 chargers already offered at select stores through its partnership with Electrify America and Volkswagen.

According to the report, Walmart’s more than 5,000 stores and Sam’s Club warehouses are located within 10 miles of about 90% of Americans.
