Restomod creator Velocity unveils its latest creation—a modernized production 1967-72 Chevrolet K10 pickup. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, the truck continues Velocity’s tradition of restoring and modifying classics far beyond their former glory, the company stated in a press release.

The offerings feature a brand-new LT1 V-8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, a Roadster Shop chassis with custom suspension, and modern luxuries such as Vintage Air climate control and a Focal sound system.

“The Velocity Chevy K10 is the result of years of engineering, design and love for the golden era of Chevrolet,” said Stuart Wilson, Velocity CEO. “We’ve had such a great reception for all our Chevy builds, but the K10 was the missing piece between our C10 and K5 offerings. We’re excited to add it to the Velocity stable and show it off to the world.”

The Velocity Chevy K10 is powered by a GM LT1 V8, pushing 460 hp to a 10L80 automatic transmission.

The K10 is also outfitted with a Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear with 3.73 gears. An Advance Adapters Atlas 2 -speed transfer case provides the strength and versatility needed for off-road adventures, and stopping power comes via Wilwood six-piston calipers with 11-inch rotors.

Like all of Velocity’s builds, the interior and exterior of the truck have been carefully reimagined with modern features while maintaining the Chevy K10’s vintage spirit, the company noted. The exterior features custom Glasurit paint with multiple color options, a Raptor-lined or color-matched engine bay and chrome bumpers.

Inside, Velocity’s signature interior keeps the bench seat, elevating it with premium materials.

Holley RetroBright LED headlights fit the bespoke grille light while custom K10 and Velocity badging give the truck subtle styling. The K10 grips the road thanks to 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires wrapped around 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Features include all-new glass and weather seals and AMP Research PowerStep retractable running boards.

A vintage wooden steering wheel is attached to an IDIDIT tilt column. Optional interior upgrades include premium leather, a heated bench seat, an Apple CarPlay-enabled head unit and a back-up camera.

In addition to the standard Signature Series trim, Velocity also offers a more premium Heritage Series.
