Vehicle Tint Exception Under Consideration in Illinois

Lawmakers in Illinois are eyeing an exception to current vehicle window tinting laws, which could impact installers throughout the state.

Current law prohibits full windshield tint and allows for only the top 6 inches of the windshields to have non-reflective tint.

The proposed legislation, HB4033, introduced by Rep. Maurice West, would allow for those with medically certified light sensitivity to have full window tint.
