UAW Reaches Tentative Agreement With US Automakers

With the announcement of an agreement with General Motors (GM), the United Auto Workers (UAW) union has tentatively agreed to terms with all three U.S. manufacturers impacted by the strike, according to an announcement from the UAW.

In addition to wage increases similar to those in the previously-reached agreements with Ford and Stellantis, the proposed contract also includes workers at GM’s Ultium battery cell manufacturing plants.
