The United Auto Workers (UAW) union has expanded its strike to include the Arlington, Texas, General Motors (GM) plant that produces the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade, according to a report from Reuters.
The move follows recent additions to targeted strikes at Ford’s Kentucky truck plant and the Ram pickup plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan, according to the report.
The additional strike doubles the weekly cost of the union dispute to $400 million, GM officials told Reuters.
