Tri-State Enterprises Acquires WM Automotive

Tri-State Enterprises, a wholesale distributor of automotive parts, car audio/electronics and truck accessories, has acquired Fort Worth, Texas-based WM Automotive, the company announced.

WM Automotive was established on Sept. 1, 1976 by founder Wilson McMillion and offers an auto parts distribution channel in the Texas market. Starting with a staff of six, the company has since grown to employ over 220 and operates out of 147,000 sq. ft. of office/warehouse space.

“We are very proud and extremely excited to bring this new, automotive parts addition to the Tri-State family,” said Tri-State Owner Tristan Taylor. “This opportunity opens up several new avenues and gives us a great team of knowledgeable people that know the industry and have a passion for what they do.”
