Toyota will offer a new overlanding and off-roading trim for the 2024 Tacoma, the automaker announced.
Called the “Trailhunter” trim, the package will include off-road and overlanding-specific components and upgrades, Toyota said.
Toyota previously announced that the 2024 Tacoma would also be available with its i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain. Currently available as an option for the Tundra full-size pickup, the hybrid system includes a 48-hp electric motor paired with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 and traditional 10-speed automatic transmission, producing 437 hp and 583 lb.-ft. of torque.
Further information regarding the new Tacoma will be available at a later date.
