Tom Kasprzyk Memorial Cruise and Car Show Set for This Weekend

The fourth annual Tom Kasprzyk Memorial Cruise and Car Show is set for June 3 in Caledonia, Ontario, to honor the noted local drag racer and engine builder.

Known to all as “Kasper,” Kasprzyk was also an official and judge at the national level with the Canadian Judo Federation. After his retirement from teaching, Kasper worked in the shops of DSE Performance contributing to the sport of drag racing after he stopped competing at Dragway Park in Cayuga.

This year’s event will once again be held at DSE Performance in Caledonia, Ontario. A June 10 rain date has also been scheduled.

According to DSE Performance, the memorial has been well-attended in past years, with a wide variety of special interest cars and their owners attending to pay tribute.

Donations will be accepted for the McNally House Hospice.
