One year after the opening of its first Regional Distribution Center (RDC), TireHub is again improving product availability and service capabilities with a second RDC located in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. The opening of the new facility expands TireHub’s overall network capacity to elevate service quality, officials note.
“Opening the Dallas RDC is another milestone for our company. It adds significant capacity to our network, furthering the full breadth and depth of Bridgestone and Goodyear offerings we carry for dealers,” said Ted Becker, TireHub CEO. “The fact that we have opened two RDCs in the last year represents our ability to continue enhancing service to our customers with increased operational efficiency.”
The 422,000-square-foot facility will feature TireHub’s comprehensive Goodyear and Bridgestone portfolios, as well as the company’s full assortment of complementary products. The new RDC will support 16 TireHub Logistics Centers (TLCs) across the central and southern United States with quick replenishment and efficient distribution to meet growing customer demands, according to the company.
TireHub opened its first RDC in Pennsylvania in October 2023. The facility provides replenishment to TLCs in the northeast and allows customers to access inventory in different ways to meet their delivery and will-call needs.
In addition to the second RDC, TireHub has plans to open three new TLCs before the end of this year. These markets include Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Charleston, South Carolina; and a second location in Boston.
