A 1968 C10 built by Flanagan, Illinois-based The Custom Shop left the C10 Nationals at Nashville Superspeedway with the Custom Truck of the Year Award, the shop announced.
Built by The Custom Shop, the winning truck is powered by an LS3 with a COMP Cam and P1X Procharger. The truck also features custom carbon fiber with copper wire weave throughout, and rides on custom Schott Wheels wrapped with Toyo Tires and Wilwood stopping power. The award-winning build is also equipped with a Pypes stainless exhaust and Hedman headers, the Custom Shop said.
Inside, Apex Leather wraps the custom seats, doors and floor, while audio is pumped through a Sony Mobile ES Audio system.
The truck is also outfitted with many custom parts, including ground effects and hood, and also features a motorized tailgate, inner bed floor, rear spoiler and more.
The exterior is painted a Rolls Royce Titanium Pearl that The Custom Shop’s John Wargo tweaked with dry pear and his signature Ghost graphics.
